Four hemodialysis machines and a mobile water treatment machine: used mainly to purify the blood of patients suffering from kidney failure, these machines have become increasingly necessary as the old ones were outdated and had been used well beyond their useful life. Moreover, with the opening of the new HMR emergency department, the nursing staff needed more machines to keep up with patient needs.
