Since treatments for cancer patients can adversely impact on appetite, each room is equipped with a refrigerator and a microwave.
They promote food autonomy and allow patients to keep within easy reach, fruits, desserts, or small “homemade” dishes that enrich their everyday life.
In addition, having access to household appliances limits the risk of cross-contamination.
Pedal exercisers
For patients rendered vulnerable by treatments that weaken their immune system, and confined for long periods in their room, these pedals allow them to exercise and thus retain their muscle mass
This equipment can be put on the feet to simulate the rotation of a bicycle or be placed on a table for activation with the hands to train the arms or the upper body.
TV sets
For entertainment and to keep their spirits high between treatments, each patient also benefits from a TV set in his/her room.
