A databank dedicated to musculoskeletal diseases

The creation of a databank entirely dedicated to musculoskeletal diseases enables the medical team in HMR’s orthopedics department to monitor developments in musculoskeletal diseases in order to determine the best course of action for treating them. Doctors determine the best possible treatment by examining the progression of the disease in individual patients and combining that information with their age and symptoms. Identifying treatment-related complications can also be used to adapt pre- and post-operative care to the patient’s needs.

The project’s ultimate goal is to optimize quality of life for patients with bleeding disorders by improving the quality of available musculoskeletal treatments.

Soon, it will be possible to provide training to members of the multidisciplinary team to further support knowledge sharing.
