HMR employees

You are all sources of such amazing generosity!

The HMR Foundation is deeply grateful to everyone who supports us in improving the quality of care provided by the hospital. This space is designed for you—to help you find inspiring people or challenges to support, or as a way for you to donate to our mission.

Meet your committed colleagues

Day after day, in addition to providing excellent care to the patients at Hôpital Maisonneuve‑Rosemont, they give their time to the HMR Foundation to help bring important projects to life. As volunteers, members of an organizing committee, canvassers, or organizers of community events, no matter their role, they all have one thing in common: a firm desire to improve the quality of patient care.

Get inspired!

Source deduction

Are you moved by the challenges facing your hospital and the pressing needs of patients? Want to do something to help improve patient care, research, and teaching? A source deduction is one of the best ways to do this. You can ask that an amount be taken directly off your pay and donated to the HMR Foundation. You’ll never even miss it!

The advantages as an HMR employee:

  • You can direct your donation to the care unit of your choice.
  • You can spread your donation out over time to lighten the load:
    • For example, you can donate $5 every two weeks, which adds up to $130 (26 X $5) at the end of the year. (The minimum amount is $3.)
    • You can stop these withdrawals at any time.
  • You’ll be environmentally friendly! Your total donation amount will appear on the documents that your employer (CIUSSS de l’Est de Montréal) gives you at the end of the tax year, which will serve as your official tax receipt. (Speaking of taxes, there are also tax benefits to giving.)
  • You’ll be helping our community to foster hope of relief and a cure for people who are going through a hard time. You’ll be a source of healing!
