Donor's stories
Grégoire Rochon
Donor in the Foundation's Will
Grégoire Rochon recently decided to make a bequest to the Foundation. He explains what led him to this choice.
Unfortunately, we all know someone who died of cancer. When it happens to a loved one, we face a terrible feeling of emptiness. Such was the case for me when I lost Lise, my friend, victim of acute leukemia, who was treated and cared for at Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital.
Honouring her Memory
After she passed away, I wanted her to be remembered. To do something for her. I just didn't know how. And then I came up with the idea of a bequest to the Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital Foundation.
A gesture for the future
For me, it was a way of honouring Lise's memory, of thanking the Hospital and its teams who have always been there for her. It was also a way to encourage the discoveries and novel treatments that the Foundation funds. Research that saves lives every day and, who knows, eventually that of a friend or family member tomorrow.
Together, let's fight cancer! Together, let's be a source of healing.
