“As a socioeconomic leader committed to the well-being of individuals and communities, through this support, Desjardins remains faithful to its purpose. We are especially pleased to join forces with the Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont and its foundation because their teams do such remarkable work,” stated Mr. Berthiaume.

Recognized worldwide for the quality of its work, thanks to this financial support, the HMR Research Centre will be able to recruit exceptional talent and establish lasting ties with the most promising students. “The Programme de bourses Desjardins pour la relève en santé will enable us to attract the best students, namely those who are interested in cellular therapy, so that we can maintain our status as the world leader in the field as we multiply the promising discoveries for our patients,” mentioned Dr. Denis-Claude Roy, Director of the HMR Research Centre.

The Programme de bourses Desjardins pour la relève en santé will also support the health care professionals of the HMR Multidisciplinary Council, whose members work in over 40 professions related to physical health care, rehabilitation or psychosocial services.
