Domaine Louis Latour

Family History

Currently managed by Louis-Fabrice Latour, the company which was founded in 1797 is still family-owned today. Of the 48 hectares of vineyards belonging to Domaine Louis Latour, more than 28 are located in Great Growths – still the largest such holding to date – between Chambertin to the north and Chevalier-Montrachet to the south, with large plots on the hill of Corton.

Louis-Fabrice Latour, seventh Louis Latour and eleventh generation of the founding line, took over the management of the House in 1999. Louis-Fabrice wishes to maintain the family culture while combining the most modern methods with the already well-established traditional ones: “It is a rule understood in the family that each generation innovates for the generations to come”, explains Louis. The archetypal passionate and immensely accessible Burgundian.
