Four personalities from the business and health care communities engaged for the HMR

Pierre Nelis, Chair of the HMR Foundation Board of Directors, is pleased to announce the appointment of four new administrators—Sandra Chartrand, Christian Bélair, Régine Lecours-Angers and Dr. Réal Barrette.
New administrators join forces for the cause
Sandra Chartrand, Chair, Fondation Sandra et Alain Bouchard
Since 2012, Sandra Chartrand has been the chair of the Fondation Sandra et Alain Bouchard. Over the last 29 years, Sandra has played an active role in the philanthropy community, serving on various boards of directors, helping to organize fundraising campaigns and events, and acting as patron.
Christian Bélair, President and Co-Founder, Credo
Christian Bélair is President and Co-Founder of Credo, a consulting firm specializing in social impact and positive innovation, whose mission is to accelerate the pace of social change. He is also co-founder of La Gare, a collaborative space for start-ups and social entrepreneurs, not to mention the founder of Familia, an organization that bridges the gap between technology and social impact. Before joining the HMR Foundation, he served as President & CEO of the Regroupement des jeunes chambres de commerce du Québec (RJCCQ).
Régine Lecours-Angers, President, April Pharma Inc.
Régine Lecours-Angers has been working in the field of pharmaceutical production since 2002. She started her career in her family’s business, Omega. In 2015, she founded her own company, April Pharma Inc., which exports Canadian-made generic pharmaceuticals. Ms. Lecours-Angers is a member of the Groupement provincial de l’industrie du médicament and Peptigroupe boards of directors.
Dr. Réal Barrette, medical director at the CIUSSS de l’Est-de-l’Île-de-Montréal’s centre of expertise in chronic illnesses
A family physician since 1995, Dr. Barrette has practiced medicine at Montreal’s CHUM and Notre-Dame hospitals for over 20 years. In 2014, he joined the CIUSSS de l’Est-de-l’île-de-Montréal, where he currently serves as coordinating physician in the chronic illness and front-line services departments. He is a medical consultant for chronic illness for the Montreal region and is in charge of the HMR’s family medicine group.
