Thank you to Raynald Arsenault: A Hero for Our Young Patients

For 23 years now, Mr. Raynald Arsenault has been a source of healing for little ones at the Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont (HMR).

Mr. Arsenault worked as a butcher at the HMR for 37 years, and found himself to be especially moved by the condition of one young patient who was being treated for leukemia. The little girl survived thanks to the extraordinary work of the teams at the HMR. Inspired by their talent and dedication, Mr. Arsenault decided to make a difference in the well-being of children at the HMR. From that day on, he began collecting and selling the tabs from beverage cans as well as bread bag ties to finance the purchase of medical equipment and toys for young neonatal and pediatric patients at the HMR. His courage and determination enabled him to raise a total of $54,000.

The Foundation feels so privileged that Mr. Arsenault and his wife, Rose, are part of the FHMR chain of solidarity that it held a recognition activity in their honour on June 1st to underline their great generosity.

Thank you for being a source of healing!
