The Scotiabank Charity Challenge has been postponed to September 26 and 27, 2020. What about your registration and your fundraising? We answer your questions.

New dates: Two choices are available to you

Option 1

You are running this fall:

  1. Saturday, September 26th: 1, 5 and 10 km (children’s race)
  2. Sunday, September 27: 21 km.

Option 2

You are not running in September, and prefer that your registration apply instead to the 2021 Scotiabank Charity Challenge, which will take place on Saturday, April 24 and Sunday, April 25.

Both options are completely FREE.

Virtual race

Whichever option you choose, a free virtual race is offered to keep your training enthusiasm at a high level.

What is a virtual race?

A virtual race is running or walking the distance you have chosen for the Challenge (1, 5, 10, or 21 km), anywhere, anytime, with anyone, while receiving your medal at home!

Let’s run together

As soon as the health situation improves, the Foundation team will offer you the opportunity to take part in this virtual race together around the Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont. We will contact you then.

When and how to choose?

You have until midnight on Thursday, April 16 to decide which option you will choose.

Once you have made your choice, follow these steps to register for your new date:

  1. Click on Dashboard Participant.
  2. Enter the email address linked to your Race Roster account.
  3. Tick off “Yes, I have a password”.
  4. Enter your password.
  5. Click on “Change Registration Data”.
  6. Refresh your selection by specifying the new date.

What happens after April 16?

After April 16, you will be automatically re-registered for September 26 and 27, 2020.

No Refunds: The Défi organization does not refund any registration fees, as stipulated in their refund policy.

However, as previously announced, HMR Foundation will refund the registration fees of all those who registered before February 18.
