Scholarships : over $24,000 in 5 years

In conjunction with the HMR Foundation, the HMR Multidisciplinary Council (MC) launched the Scholarship, Fellowship and Outreach Grant Program. Over the past five years, the Program has conferred 14 such awards totalling $24,000. This year, four recipients received funding totalling $7,000.

According to Emilie Mercier, occupational therapist, HMR representative and Secretary of the transitional Multidisciplinary Council, “These awards are perfectly aligned with the mission of the MC, whose role is to ensure the professional practice quality of all its members (physiotherapists, audiologists, occupational therapists…) by fostering their professional development and maintaining the high quality of healthcare and services at HMR.”
