Patrice L’Écuyer, the New HMR Foundation Spokesperson!

It is with great pride and enthusiasm that the HMR Foundation welcomes beloved Quebec host and actor Patrice L’Écuyer as its new spokesperson.

Patrice L’Écuyer’s commitment to the Foundation began over 15 years ago. As host and auctioneer during the Grand Banquet of the Montréal Passion Vin fundraising event, he has helped the Foundation raise hundreds of thousands of dollars over the years. This was followed by years of shared commitment and engagement with the Foundation, namely in support of the J’Appuie Dodo campaign, spearheaded by our goodwill ambassador and Patrice’s good friend, Dominique Michel.

A headliner on the cultural scene, Patrice is a pioneer of the famous Bye Bye annual review. He has also been featured on Quebec’s small screen as the host of several television shows, such as Des squelettes dans le placard, Prière de ne pas envoyer de fleurs and L’Union fait la force, to name but a few.

Patrice is currently involved in the Reprogram History fundraising campaign, which is looking to raise $ 15 million to accelerate the development of stem cell treatments at HMR.

« It’s with great enthusiasm that I accepted to become the HMR Foundation spokeperson! I’ve met so many deeply committed people; I’ve heard so many inspiring stories.

I have personally witnessed how donations actually advance medicine at the HMR. I also want to do even more to support the patients’ cause and the future of medecine!

I am astounded and amazed by everything that can be done with stem cell therapy! Every day, HMR researchers bring new life to patients by reprogramming their stories. Cell therapy offers more than hope! Team up with me and contribute to change lives. »
