Desjardins Supports Excellence and Innovation at the Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont

Beyond a financial contribution, the Desjardins Group has provided valuable and decisive support to five recipients as part of the Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont (HMR) Multidisciplinary Council Scholarship, Fellowship and Outreach Grant Program. By awarding recipients a total of $10,000, Desjardins supports them in their professional development and career path.

Attending the scholarship award ceremony, Martin Levac, Desjardins interim General Manager, Caisse du Réseau de la santé, declared, “Through its cooperative spirit and commitment to the community, Desjardins is proud to be a part of and contribute to the outreach of young people who are involved in the healthcare network to ensure the well-being of patients and their family. Two words come to mind to describe the HMR Multidisciplinary Council: Excellence and innovation. Helping us move forward, keeping pace with new trends and societys needs. These two words reflect the values held by Desjardins and the Caisse du Réseau de la santé.

The Multidisciplinary Council is comprised of all the technicians, technologists and professionals who work at the HMR and hold a college or university degree. It is associated with the HMR Foundation, whose mission, since 1978, has been to support the daily ongoing improvement of patient care, the expansion of research and teaching and the development of new skills. Thanks to these scholarships, recipients will provide constantly improving care to HMR patients.
