Home stretch for the J’appuie Dodo Campaign: All Together with Dominique Michel!

At 85, Dominique Michel is about to make a crazy dream come true: Raise $12 million for the construction of the future Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont Integrated Cancer Centre. Launched 6 years ago, her J’appuie Dodo Campaign should actually be reaching its goal by the end of this fall thanks to the generosity of the general public, of business leaders and of participants at HMR Foundation fundraisers as well as to the support of her friends from the entertainment world.

“I want to thank all of the Quebeckers who generously donated to help cancer patients. To date, we have raised $11 million. I am inviting you to support us and to renew your support: Help us reach our goal in 2017!”

With these $12 million, the HMR Foundation and its donors will cap off the $80 million required for construction of the future HMR Integrated Cancer Centre. This centre will constitute a medical and human breakthrough that will enable us to meet Montrealers’ growing need for avant-garde cancer care.

Between now and the end of this year, Dominique Michel will attend two HMR Foundation events, À Votre Santé! and Montréal Passion Vin, using every available forum to complete the mission she set out for herself after being successfully treated for cancer at the HMR.

With your help, Dodo will soon be able to say, “Mission accomplished!” Donate now online and send Dodo your words of encouragement at info@fondationhmr.ca or on the Facebook page @jappuiedodo.
