$232 355 net was raised in support of the Integrated Cancer Centre project

The 15th edition of the Montréal Passion Vin benefit, held on November 4th and 5th at the Bonaventure Hotel, came to a brilliant conclusion in the presence of some 600 guests: A record $1,544,010 net was raised by the Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont (HMR) Foundation in support of the Integrated Cancer Centre project. Festivities kicked off on Thursday, November 3rd, with the À Votre Santé! benefit, which raised $232,355 net.

Hosted by Virginie Coossa, the 5th edition of À Votre Santé! gathered some 400 guests at Agora Hydro-Québec. Surrounded by Lulu Hughes, Mai Duong and several other friends from the entertainment world, volunteer spokesperson Dominique Michel celebrated five years of remission: “I am so gratified to see this many people support our cause. If I am in remission today, I owe it all to the excellent care provided by the doctors at the Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont. Every donation brings us closer to our objective. Thank you so much for your support.”

The event’s honorary president Ms. Sylvie Marois, Vice-President and Managing Director, Quebec Region, BMO Private Banking, stated: “Contributing to community life is one of BMO’s deep-rooted values. We are moved by the human approach of the future Integrated Cancer Centre and we are proud to support the improvement of care for cancer patients in east end Montreal.” The HMR Foundation wishes to thank the Organizing Committee and its president, Ms. Louise Sanscartier, Corporate Director. The next edition of À Votre Santé! will be held on November 9, 2017.
