$1,544,010 for the future Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont Integrated Cancer Centre

The 15th edition of the Montréal Passion Vin benefit, held on November 4th and 5th at the Bonaventure Hotel, came to a brilliant conclusion in the presence of some 600 guests: A record $1,544,010 net was raised by the Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont (HMR) Foundation in support of the Integrated Cancer Centre project. Festivities kicked off on Thursday, November 3rd, with the À Votre Santé! benefit which raised $232,355 net.

This superb 2016 cuvée brings the total of funds raised for the future Integrated Cancer Centre to $9.5M of the $12M objective. “We feel proud, moved and grateful. We owe this immense success to the unwavering support of our presenting partner, the SAQ, as well as to our major donor partner, Manulife. We also owe it to the immense generosity of the winemakers, who introduce us to such exceptional wines. We also wish to express our most sincere gratitude to our faithful participants, to the donors, to the Organizing Committee, to our volunteers and to all of our partners. Thank you and congratulations,” said Ms. Lucie Drapeau, Executive Director of the HMR Foundation.

Organized by the HMR Foundation and co-chaired by Mr. Mathieu Duguay, President of COGIR Real Estate and Mr. Martin Gauthier, President and Senior Partner at Sid Lee Montréal, Montréal Passion Vin is recognized as the largest wine tasting event of its kind nationwide. It has allowed the most seasoned wine lovers to taste some extraordinary vintages, in the company of the owners and directors of some of the most renowned châteaux and estates of France, Italy and California.
