Together for the HMR Fund
Let’s Help the HMR and its patients
The Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont Foundation is launching a fundraising campaign to ensure that the population benefits from the best possible care at all times.
Why give?
Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont (HMR) is the largest hospital center in the east end of Montreal and one of the institutions designated by the Quebec government to care for COVID-19 patients, while continuing to provide essential services to the most vulnerable people in our community. Its teams performed greatly, but the pandemic did highlight two realities:
- The dilapidated condition of the Hospital;
- The high vulnerability of the population served by HMR.
This state of affairs and the importance of ensuring that HMR teams have the facilities, equipment, programs and training necessary to provide the best care and excel are what led the Foundation to create the Together for the HMR Fund.
The Fund’s objective
To provide the HMR with the resources necessary to maintain excellence in care, research and teaching, which are at the heart of the Hospital's ability to deal with the current and future challenges.
This fund will support among other things:
- Acquisition of equipment and technology;
- Recruitment, retention and training of health care personnel;
- Improving the quality of care offered to patients;
- the HMR Cancer Care Centre expansion project.
Time is of the essence.
Help us save lives now and be prepared for any eventuality.
Help the HMR and its patients.
Dr. Marquis and his intensive care team were on the frontlines during COVID.
"Throughout this pandemic, the HMR has been there for you, your loved ones and the entire community. We have demonstrated our ability to deal with COVID-19, treating patients from all over the island of Montreal and Quebec. The Together for the HMR Fund gives you the opportunity to show your solidarity towards your Hospital and its patients. Let's stand as one with the HMR, because each and everyone of us will benefit from it! "

Alive, against all odds!
"I am alive today, thanks to the exceptional efforts made by the Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont's intensive care team, who, for nearly ten weeks, did everything they could to save my life.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart to Dr. Marquis’ entire team, who became my second family during these long weeks."
